# Watchlist

Your watchlist keeps the tokens you want to follow in one place. This guide shows you how to star tokens anywhere in the app, open the list from the navbar, and trade or tidy up straight from the table.

{% hint style="info" %}
The watchlist needs a ZeroTick account. If you are not logged in, the star icons are dimmed and show "Log in to add to watchlist", and the navbar star opens the sign-up window instead.
{% endhint %}

### Add a token

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Find the star

The same star icon appears wherever a token does:

* on a project card in the Marketplace, at the bottom right of the card
* at the start of every row on the Discover page
* in the header of a token's trade page

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Press the star

The star fills with color: the token is on your watchlist. Press a filled star again to remove the token from the list.

{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="success" %}
There is one watchlist for your whole account. A token starred on the Discover page shows a filled star on its project card and trade page too.
{% endhint %}

### Open your watchlist

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Press the navbar star

Click the star icon in the navbar, next to the search bar.

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Land on the Watchlist tab

Your starred tokens are listed under **Live**. The same window also has a **Wallet Tracker** tab for following external wallets; it has its own guide, [Wallet tracking](https://zerotick-trade.gitbook.io/documentation.v1.1/user-guides/wallet-tracking).

![The open watchlist showing the Watchlist tab with a table of starred tokens](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ZeroTick-Trade/Public-Assets/04dbb8481949fdba61376bab50905b3341566665/docs/guides/getting-around/watchlist/04-watchlist-tab.png)
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### Read the table

| Column     | What it shows                                                     |
| ---------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Token | Logo, name, and ticker. Click it to open the token's trade page. |
| Market Cap | The token's current market cap. |
| 1h Volume | Trading volume over the last hour. |
| Liquidity | Available liquidity. A dash means the value is not available yet. |
| Action | The **Buy** shortcut and the remove button. |

Click **Market Cap**, **1h Volume**, or **Liquidity** to sort by that column, highest first. Click the same header again to reverse the order. The list starts sorted by 1h Volume.

### Trade or remove from the list

* To open a token's trade page, click the token or press **Buy** in its row. The watchlist closes so you land straight on the trade page. The **Buy** button never places an order by itself; you review and confirm everything on the trade page.
* To remove one token, press the trash icon in its row, then press **Remove** to confirm (or **Cancel** to keep it).
* To clear the whole list, press **Remove All** at the top right and confirm with **Remove**.

<details>

<summary>Does removing a token affect my holdings?</summary>

No. The watchlist is only a list of shortcuts. Removing a token never touches your balances, positions, or orders. If you remove one by mistake, star it again from any page.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Why is Liquidity a dash for some tokens?</summary>

The liquidity value is not available for that token yet. The rest of the row still works as normal.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Will I see the same watchlist on another device?</summary>

Yes. The watchlist is saved to your account and refreshes from it every time you open it, so it stays the same wherever you log in.
