# The footer explained

The footer is a slim utility bar pinned to the bottom of every page on desktop. It keeps market context, your connection status, theme controls, and social links one click away, without pulling you off the page you are on.

{% hint style="info" %}
The footer is a desktop feature. It is hidden on phones and small screens, and the center price and bonding readouts are the first to hide when the browser window gets narrow.
{% endhint %}

### The footer at a glance

Reading left to right, the bar has three zones: trackers on the left, market pulse in the center, and status, theme, and links on the right.

![The ZeroTick footer bar with each element numbered from left to right](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ZeroTick-Trade/Public-Assets/e3e87eeccd42927cc50a1b6b1cbd7ef66fa28386/docs/guides/getting-around/the-footer-explained/01-footer-overview.png)

1. **P\&L Tracker** opens a snapshot of your balance and profit and loss.
2. **Wallet Tracker** opens the wallet tracking view.
3. The price tracker shows up to four live token prices.
4. The bonding threshold shows the current threshold and gas for one asset.
5. The connection indicator shows whether live data is flowing.
6. The palette button opens the theme customizer.
7. The social buttons open X, Discord, and these docs.

### Trackers (left)

Two buttons sit on the left. Both open only when you are signed in. As a guest, selecting either one brings up a sign-in prompt and leaves you on the current page.

**P\&L Tracker** opens a compact card showing your total balance and combined profit and loss (P\&L) across all of your wallets, with a refresh control to re-check the numbers on demand.

**Wallet Tracker** opens the wallet tracking view on its **Wallet Tracker** tab, where you follow other wallets and see what they trade. For the full walkthrough, see [Wallet tracking](https://zerotick-trade.gitbook.io/documentation.v1.1/user-guides/wallet-tracking).

### Market pulse (center)

On wider screens the center of the bar carries two live readouts. Both refresh on their own about every 30 seconds, so the numbers stay current while you work.

**Price tracker.** This shows four token prices at a time, starting with BTC, ETH, SOL, and SUI. Select the arrow to open the picker, then choose which tokens to show. The header reads **Select up to 4 tokens**, so any four will do.

**Bonding threshold.** Next to the prices, this shows the current bonding curve threshold and the estimated gas fee for one asset, defaulting to ETH. Select it to open the **Select asset** menu and switch assets. Hover either value to read the exact figure.

### Status and links (right)

**Connection status.** A small wireless icon and a short message tell you whether live data is reaching the app. The icon color changes with the state.

| Indicator | Message                                  | What it means                                                           |
| --------- | ---------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Green | Connection is stable | Live data is flowing normally. |
| Green | Connection restored | The connection just came back after a drop. |
| Orange | Connection lost, actions may take longer | The connection is unsteady. The app still works but may respond slowly. |
| Red | Connection lost | The app cannot reach the network right now. |

**Customize theme.** The palette button opens the theme customizer, where you switch between the Dark and Light base modes, choose an accent, or build a fully custom palette. See [Themes and appearance](https://zerotick-trade.gitbook.io/documentation.v1.1/user-guides/themes-and-appearance).

**Social links.** Three icons close out the bar: **Follow us on X**, **Join our Discord**, and **Read our documentation**. The last one opens these docs in a new tab.

<details>

<summary>Why is the footer missing on my phone?</summary>

The footer is a desktop feature. On phones and small screens it is hidden so the trading views stay full width. Reach the same features from the main navigation instead.

</details>

<details>

<summary>The price and bonding readouts disappeared</summary>

The center zone is the first to hide when the browser window is narrow. Widen the window to bring the readouts back, or open individual tokens from the Marketplace or Discover.
