# Create Your Account

Signing up for ZeroTick takes about a minute, and you do not need any crypto experience to start. Every sign-up method gives you an account and a non-custodial wallet that ZeroTick creates for you in the background.

You do not need an existing crypto wallet, a browser extension, or a seed phrase to sign up. ZeroTick creates and secures an embedded wallet for you as part of the process.

### How you sign up

Create your account with email or one of three social logins. Every option creates the same account with the same features, so pick whichever is easiest for you.

### Your wallet, created for you

The moment you sign up, ZeroTick generates a **non-custodial** embedded wallet. Non-custodial means the private keys are created on your own device and never reach ZeroTick's servers, so only you can move your funds.

The same wallet works across every network ZeroTick supports, with a Solana address and an address that covers the EVM chains, so you can hold and trade on all of them from one account. ### How signing up works

#### Choose how you sign up

Pick email or a social login (Google, X, or Discord). Email asks you to set a password; social logins send you to that provider and back.

#### Your wallet is created

A short loading screen appears while ZeroTick generates your non-custodial wallet and its addresses. This takes a few seconds, and your keys stay on your device throughout.

#### Finish a quick setup

Accept the Terms and confirm you are 18 or older, make your cookie and analytics choice, back up your wallet, and, if you want, turn on two-factor authentication.

Once setup is done you land on the Marketplace, ready to explore tokens across every supported chain.

### Backing up your wallet

How you recover your wallet later depends on how you signed up.

* **Email sign-ups** use a wallet password. It also encrypts your wallet, and it is how you recover or export the wallet on a new device. Save your [recovery kit](https://zerotick-trade.gitbook.io/documentation.v1.1/user-guides/recovery-kit) during setup so you have a backup.
* **Social sign-ups** (Google, X, Discord) are passwordless. You recover simply by logging back in with the same provider, so there is no separate wallet password to set or lose.

If you sign up with email, your password cannot be reset. ZeroTick does not store it and cannot recover it for you, and losing it means losing access to your wallet and the funds in it. Write it down and store it somewhere safe.

### Signing in later

Log in with the same method you used to sign up. Your account, wallet, balances, and settings are tied to that identity and persist across sessions and devices.

No. ZeroTick creates a wallet for you at signup, with no browser extension, seed phrase, or prior crypto experience required. You can add funds afterward from any wallet or exchange.

No. Social sign-ups are passwordless. Your wallet is secured through your chosen provider, and you recover it by logging back in with that same provider.
