# Risk & Legal Disclaimer

**Last Updated:** July 11, 2026

**Effective Date:** July 8, 2026

## Risk Warning

**You can lose all of your funds. Please read this before using ZeroTick.**

ZeroTick is a high-risk crypto-asset trading, discovery, and token-launch interface. The vast majority of newly launched tokens fail, and most people who trade them lose money. Newly launched and low-liquidity tokens are especially volatile and are frequently the target of scams.

**By using ZeroTick, you acknowledge that:**

* You may lose 100% of the funds you commit.
* No one at ZeroTick will compensate you for losses.
* Trading crypto-assets and newly launched tokens is extremely high risk and is not suitable for most people.
* You should only use funds you can afford to lose completely.
* You have read, understood, and accepted the risks described here.

**If you do not accept these risks, do not use ZeroTick.**

***

### 1. Non-custodial platform

ZeroTick is non-custodial. You control your wallet and your funds; ZeroTick does not hold your complete private key and cannot move your funds on its own. If you enable an optional automated feature (for example, stop-loss execution), you grant a limited, revocable permission scoped only to that action.

Because you control your funds:

* **You are responsible for your keys and password.** If you lose your password or Recovery Kit and cannot recover access, your funds may be permanently lost. ZeroTick cannot recover them for you.
* **Transactions are final.** Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed by ZeroTick once submitted. Always verify details before you confirm.
* **There is no insurance or deposit protection.** Your funds are not covered by any deposit-guarantee or investor-compensation scheme.

***

### 2. No investment advice

ZeroTick does not provide investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Everything on the platform — including analytics, token metrics, market data, rankings, and any risk labels — is for information only and is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything.

You are solely responsible for your own decisions. Do your own research. Any token, wallet, or leader shown on the platform is not endorsed by ZeroTick, and its appearance is not a signal of quality or safety.

***

### 3. Trading risks

* **Extreme volatility.** Token prices can move sharply and without warning, including to zero.
* **Liquidity risk.** You may be unable to buy or sell at the price or size you want; low-liquidity tokens can be impossible to exit.
* **Market manipulation.** Crypto markets, especially for new tokens, are frequently manipulated (for example, pump-and-dump schemes).
* **Price impact and slippage.** Large orders and thin liquidity can move the price against you; your fill may differ from the quoted price.
* **Copy trading.** A leader's past performance does not predict future results. You bear all losses from copied trades, and ZeroTick does not vet or endorse leaders.
* **Total loss.** Many tokens go to zero. Treat every position as potentially a total loss.

***

### 4. Smart-contract risk

Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities that can result in loss of funds. **A security audit does not guarantee safety** — audited contracts have still failed. On-chain contracts are often immutable and cannot be patched once deployed. Bridges and cross-chain infrastructure have historically been a major target of exploits resulting in total loss.

***

### 5. Cross-chain risk

Cross-chain trades rely on third-party infrastructure and can fail, be delayed, or leave funds temporarily stuck while a transfer settles. Prices can move during a transfer. These risks are inherent to moving assets between networks and are outside ZeroTick's control.

***

### 6. Token-launch risk

* **Very high failure rate.** Most newly launched tokens lose most or all of their value quickly.
* **Rug pulls and scams are common.** Creators can abandon a project or drain liquidity. Contract code can be designed to trap buyers (for example, honeypots).
* **ZeroTick does not verify tokens or creators.** Listing or launch capability is not a safety check. Any automated risk signal is best-effort and can be wrong.
* **V0 protection limits.** Some fairness and protection features described for future versions are not active in the current version. Do not assume a token has protections it does not have.
* **Bonding-curve mechanics.** Prices on a bonding curve move with each trade; early and late participants face very different economics.

***

### 7. Rewards and competitions

Points, ranks, competitions, and referral rewards are loyalty and promotional mechanics, not investment products, yield, or profit-sharing. Any cashback or fee-rebate mechanic that may be introduced in future (for example, one tied to a ZTCK token, if and when such a token exists) would be a loyalty mechanic on the same basis. Eligibility, amounts, and availability can change, and rewards may require you to meet conditions or claim within a time window. See the Fees page and the relevant program pages for current terms.

***

### 8. ZTCK token risk

If and when a ZTCK token exists, it carries significant risk: its price may be highly volatile or fall to zero, its utility may change, and the regulatory treatment of tokens is uncertain and evolving and could adversely affect it or your ability to hold or use it. Nothing on the platform is an offer to sell, or a solicitation to buy, any token, and no allocation or distribution is promised or guaranteed. Do not acquire or hold any token expecting profit.

***

### 9. Third-party services

ZeroTick relies on third-party infrastructure (for example, wallet, hosting, routing, and blockchain-data providers) and on public blockchain networks. These can fail, change, or become unavailable. ZeroTick is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or performance of third-party services or networks, and their failures can cause you loss.

***

### 10. Regulatory, geographic, and tax responsibility

* **Evolving regulation.** Crypto-asset regulation is developing and varies by country; changes may affect the platform or your ability to use it.
* **Your compliance.** You are responsible for ensuring your use of ZeroTick is lawful where you live. You must not use the platform if you are in a prohibited jurisdiction or subject to applicable sanctions.
* **Tax.** You are solely responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any taxes on your activity. ZeroTick does not provide tax advice; consult a professional.

***

### 11. No warranty

The platform is provided **"as is"** and **"as available"**, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. ZeroTick does not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation, or the accuracy or completeness of any information.

***

### 12. Limitation of liability

**To the maximum extent permitted by law**, ZeroTick is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of funds, tokens, profits, data, or wallet access, however arising. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the fees you paid to ZeroTick in the 12 months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations; nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of your country of residence, and your non-waivable consumer rights are unaffected.

### 13. Changes to this warning

We may update this Risk Warning. Material changes will be notified on the platform before they take effect.
