# Tasks and quests

Tasks and quests turn everyday ZeroTick actions into points: depositing, trading, launching a token, inviting friends, and sharing projects. This guide shows how to find your tasks, follow your progress, and claim the points you earn.

#### Find your tasks

Open the **Rewards** tab in the navbar. It lands on **Tasks & quests**, the first of four pills across the top of the page: **Tasks & quests**, **Competition**, **Rewards**, and **Leaderboard**. Every task lives here.

Watch the names. The **Rewards** pill (third along) is a separate page where your points are totalled and claimed. This page, **Tasks & quests**, is where tasks live and grow. You will jump to the **Rewards** pill to claim at the end of this guide.

#### Read the summary bar

The bar at the top of the page sums up where you stand:

* **Today**: the points you have earned in this visit (it appears once you earn some).
* **Progress**: how many tasks you have completed out of the total.
* **Earned**: your total points earned so far.

Points raise your rank and count toward your Airdrop score, both shown on the **Rewards** pill. They are not money and cannot be withdrawn. For the full picture, see [The Rewards page](https://zerotick-trade.gitbook.io/documentation.v1.1/user-guides/rewards-page).

#### Browse tasks by category

Tasks are grouped into six categories. Use the pills below the summary bar to filter to one category, or leave **All Tasks** selected to see them all. Each pill shows how many of its tasks you have completed.

| Category       | What its tasks are about                                                   |
| -------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Onboarding** | Getting set up: your first deposit, your profile, your watchlist           |
| **Trading**    | Trading activity: number of trades, volume, unique tokens, and active days |
| **Launchpad**  | Launching a token and getting it to graduate from the bonding curve        |
| **Referrals**  | Inviting people who sign up, deposit, and trade                            |
| **Social**     | Sharing projects on X                                                      |
| **Tracking**   | Tracking wallets for trading insights                                      |

When you finish every task in a category, that category shows a **Complete** badge and drops to the bottom of the list, so unfinished tasks stay in view.

#### How a task works

Every card shows the task name, a short description, and its points on the right. Tasks come in three shapes:

| Task shape     | How it pays out                                                                                                                     | Example             |
| -------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------- |
| **Single**     | Complete it once to earn its points                                                                                                 | First deposit       |
| **Milestone**  | A ladder of targets. Each target you reach pays out its own points. Open the card to see the whole ladder and how far along you are | Trade count         |
| **Repeatable** | Pays out every time you do the action                                                                                               | Successful referral |

A milestone task shows its combined value on the right, ending in **pts total**, with a one-line summary such as **Milestone 2 of 6** and how far you are from the next target. A repeatable task shows how many times you have done it and the points you earn each time, for example **Completed 3x**.

As you use ZeroTick, each task moves through these states:

| State           | What you see on the card                                    | What to do                                          |
| --------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| **Available**   | A small dot; the task is ready to start                     | Do the action the task describes                    |
| **In progress** | Your progress so far, filling toward the next target        | Keep going                                          |
| **Claimable**   | A pulsing dot and a **Ready to claim in Rewards tab** badge | Claim your points on the Rewards tab (next section) |
| **Completed**   | A green check, and the task counts toward your progress     | Nothing, it is done                                 |

Progress is recorded from your real activity, so a task can take a moment to catch up after you act. If a task has not updated yet, reload the page.

#### Claim your points in the Rewards tab

When a task is done it turns **Claimable**, but you do not claim it on the task card. The card carries a **Ready to claim in Rewards tab** badge, and a banner appears at the top of **Tasks & quests** whenever points are waiting. Claiming happens on the **Rewards** tab, where all your ready points are gathered behind one button.

On **Tasks & quests**, press **Claim in Rewards** in the banner at the top of the page. You can also press the **Rewards** pill yourself.

**Press Claim points**

On the **Rewards** tab, find the **Claimable Points** card and press **Claim points**. Every task that was ready is claimed together.

Your points are added to your total, and the claimed tasks show a green check back on **Tasks & quests**. A short note confirms the points earned.

#### Questions and edge cases

<summary>The Trading category is greyed out and says "Locked"</summary>

Trading tasks unlock after your first valid trade. Until then the category shows **Locked** and its pill cannot be selected. Make one valid trade and the whole category opens up.

<summary>A task is crossed out</summary>

A task shown with a line through it has had its points removed. This can happen when the activity behind it is reversed or does not pass a fairness check. Its points no longer count toward your total.

<summary>Can I claim straight from the task card?</summary>

No. The task card only shows the **Ready to claim in Rewards tab** badge. Claiming happens on the **Rewards** tab, so all your ready points are claimed in one place with a single **Claim points** press.

<summary>Where did a completed task go?</summary>

Completed tasks keep a green check inside their category while it still has tasks to finish. Once every task in a category is done, the whole category folds into a short **All tasks completed** summary and drops to the bottom of the list, so your unfinished work stays in view.
